Brock Purdy Reportedly Near Top of Career Passer Rating List

Chico Redding, CA, October 18, 2026 —

San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy is reportedly close to reaching the top spot on the all-time career passer rating list, according to the information provided. The report identifies the possible milestone but does not include the figures needed to determine his current position or how close he is to first place.

No passer rating, ranking, comparison with the current leader, or supporting statistical breakdown was provided. The information also does not identify the source of the report or specify when Purdy might reach the top spot. As a result, the claim can be described only as a reported possibility, rather than a confirmed change in the all-time standings.

The record in question is described as the all-time career passer rating list. The summary does not state which players are ahead of Purdy, how many qualifying appearances or seasons are included in the comparison, or whether the ranking reflects a particular cutoff date. Those details would be necessary to assess the claim and understand the exact context of the reported standing.

Purdy is identified in the summary as a quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. No additional information about his performance, the team, or a specific game or season was included. The available information therefore supports a limited account: Purdy is reportedly nearing the top of the career list, but the precise ranking and statistical basis for that report were not provided.
