SHEUNG WAN, HONG KONG, November 4, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Xiora Technologies today announced the launch of Xiora AI, a browser-based service that enables users to engage in real-time, face-to-face video conversations with expressive AI companions. Building on the company’s experience developing Xiora for Meta Quest, the new platform brings personalized AI conversations to smartphones, tablets, and computers without requiring a VR headset or app download.

In November 2025, Xiora Technologies announced that its original Xiora application had been approved for the Meta Quest Store. That application introduced life-size AI companions into virtual and mixed reality environments. Xiora AI represents the next step in the company’s development, extending its AI companion experiences beyond VR hardware.

Personalized Memories Across Conversations

One of Xiora AI’s key features is its personal memory system. AI companions can remember meaningful details shared during previous conversations, allowing later interactions to build on earlier discussions.

For example, a companion may remember a user’s hobbies, favorite movies, or upcoming plans and refer to those topics in future conversations. Users can review, edit, or delete saved information through the My Memories interface.

Memories are maintained separately for each AI companion, allowing users to develop distinct conversational experiences with different characters.

Multiple Personalities and Multilingual Conversations

Xiora AI offers a growing selection of AI companions with individual personalities and conversational styles. Users can choose a companion based on their preferences and engage in conversations about everyday interests, entertainment, personal experiences, or language practice.

The platform supports conversations in English and other supported languages. Users can also manage their personal memories in their preferred language.

AI Video Conversations Without a VR Headset

Unlike the original Meta Quest application, Xiora AI operates directly in a compatible web browser. Users can access the service from a smartphone, tablet, or computer with a microphone and an internet connection.

The service uses prepaid conversation tickets instead of recurring subscriptions. A five-minute Trial ticket is available for $5, allowing new users to experience the platform without an automatic renewal.

“Our experience developing Xiora for Meta Quest demonstrated the potential of personal AI interaction,” said a spokesperson for Xiora Technologies. “With Xiora AI, our goal is to make face-to-face conversations more accessible while allowing each companion to remember meaningful details from previous interactions.”

Xiora AI is a separate service from the original Xiora for Meta Quest. A new account is required, and existing subscriptions and conversation balances cannot be transferred between the two platforms. The AI companions are digital characters rather than real people.
