A truck was surrounded by nine squad cars during a chase at a Trader Joe’s in Chico, according to the available account. The brief description does not provide further details about the incident.
The date and time of the chase were not provided. The account does not identify the street or specific Trader Joe’s location in Chico, the agency or agencies involved, or who was driving the truck. It also does not explain what prompted the chase or how it ended.
No information was provided about arrests, injuries, damage, citations or any charges. The account also does not say whether customers, employees or other members of the public were affected, or whether the store was closed or disrupted.
The number of squad cars—nine—is the only specific figure in the description. No statements from police, store representatives or witnesses were included, and no official records or independent confirmation were cited. As a result, the circumstances surrounding the pursuit and the response remain unclear.
Further details would be needed to establish the sequence of events, identify the agencies involved and determine what happened after the truck was surrounded. The available information supports only the limited description of a truck, a chase, nine squad cars and a Trader Joe’s in Chico; it does not establish a motive, outcome or legal consequence.
